  • LEGO – a construction toy consisting of interlocking plastic building blocks. This definition may be painfully obvious, but you never know who might need it.
  • Brick – The standard lego piece that is generally used for most LEGO builds. Its basically the heart and soul of any LEGO creation, barring Technic.
  • Plate – Thinner than bricks and arguably one of the most used pieces in sets. Three plates stacked on top of each other equal a brick.

  • Minifig (MF) – An official LEGO Minifigure. A full size minifig is about 4 bricks tall.
  • Brick Built – a LEGO build or set that is composed of basic LEGO elements, instead of more specialized elements. Much of the time, this technique looks a lot more advanced if pulled off right.
  • SNOT – Studs Not On Top. This is a very techniquely advanced…technique?
  • NPU – Nice Part Usage. Especially using food IMHO.
  • MOC – My Own Creation.
